Dan McGrath Claims VOTER FRAUD Partially To Blame For Voter ID Failure
While McGrath claims money as the principle cause for the defeat of the Voter ID Amendment and spends many many paragraphs whining about how super awesome his message was and how super mean the opposition messages were, he doesn’t forget to add this little gem: Ultimately, money was the principle factor in the defeat of the Voter ID amendment. Initial post-election research now being conducted by Minnesota Majority indicates that voter fraud likely played a role, but voter fraud is only effective in a close election. It shouldn’t have even been close. Despite the defeat of the constitutional amendment, the people of Minnesota clearly support requiring photo ID to vote, but were misled to believe that the constitutional amendment was an egregious way to accomplish … Continue reading

The Moment Of Victory For MN United For All Families
Caught on video (right around the 3 minute mark), the moment that Richard Carlbom, MN United for All Families Campaign Manager, and the rest of his team found out that the anti-marriage amendment had been defeated and they had pulled off a remarkable upset. It’s a pretty amazing moment and should bring a smile to your face…
Marriage Restriction Amendment Foes Trade Jabs at the MN State Fair
A nice mashup of the debate between the anti-marriage amendment supporters and opponents… Courtesy of The Uptake: Marriage Restriction Amendment Foes Trade Jabs at the MN State Fair from The UpTake. Like this? Watch the latest episode of The UpTake on Blip! http://blip.tv/the-uptake/watch The trademark orange of the MN United for All Families was visible from far away. An army of volunteers sold shirts, hugged clipboards, talked to voters and handed out fans that cooled supporters on a recent steamy day. Up the way, a more subdued atmosphere was present at the Minnesota for Marriage booth. Supporters handed out literature and talked to voters, but the vibe was toned down. Thatapos;s not the only difference coming between both sides of the marriage debate-itapos;s one of … Continue reading

MN Senator Dan Hall Tweet Implies Minnesotans Voting NO On Anti-Marriage Amendment Are NOT Patriotic
MN State Senator Dan Hall (R) posted a tweet today asking the question, “Why is it you never see an American flag where you see a Vote No for the Mn Marriage Amendment sign?” Accompanying the tweet is an image of one house with a flag flying in front with what appears to be houses on either side with orange Minnesotans United for all Families ‘Vote NO’ signs in front of them. It is unclear whether they have flags or not based on the image but according to the Senator, they do not. The implication in the tweet is clear that those people who oppose the amendment are not as patriotic as those people who support it although we have no evidence to show that … Continue reading

Freedom to Marry Puts Out New Ad – “Grandparents”
A national organization in the struggle to achieve marriage equality called Freedom to Marry put out an television advertisement in Minnesota titled “Grandparents” which is meant to continue the conversation about anti-marriage amendment on the ballot here in the state. Here in the state, Richard Carlbom who is managing the Minnesotans United for All Families campaign to defeat the anti-marriage amendment put out this press release about the television ad: This ad is straightforward, and its simple message rings true: Marriage is about love, commitment and responsibility – and no one should be told that it is illegal to marry the person that he or she loves. Yvonne and Fred Peterson from Duluth – like so many other Minnesotans – have been on an important … Continue reading
