Shit @MaryFranson Says… Welfare For The Poor Is Like Feeding The Animals
H/T to both Laura Askelin & Sally Jo Sorenson for catching this one… These updates from Representative Mary Franson just keep getting better and better. In the update for this week, Franson makes the following (apparently funny) comparison between poor people on welfare and animals living in our parks: And here, it’s kind of ironic, I’ll read you this little funny clipped that we got from a friend. It says, Isn’t it ironic that the food stamp program, part of the Department of Agriculture, is pleased to be distributing the greatest amount of food stamps ever. Meanwhile, the Park Service, also part of the Department of Agriculture, asks us to please not feed the animals, because the animals may grow dependent and not learn to … Continue reading

The Greatest MNHouse Spokesperson. Ever.
Someone really ought to teach Representative Franson to sound natural when she reads from the teleprompter off camera. I’m sure it was one of those completely appropriate conservative teleprompters and not a commie socialist teleprompter that is used by OBAMA! Is it me or is the only thing missing from this video some inspirational background music? Suggest some in the comment section and I will see what I can do to make it happen!
Mary Franson: Last Session We Focused On Divisive Issues! But Not This Session?
Seriously, Republicans, I don’t even mind that she is lying through her teeth about budget surpluses and deficits between Republicans and DFLers. All I can focus on is how clueless she sounds. Please, for the sake of all Minnesotans, produce more Mary Franson updates and see if you can’t get them on the talking picture boxes all over the state.

Mary Franson Update: OBAMACARE!
I am posting this for no other reason than the shear humor of watching Representative Mary Franson demonstrate how little she knows about, well, ANYTHING. It really is painful to watch. You really have to feel sorry for the people of House District 11B who apparently felt this was the best and brightest they could find in the district. Just let me end with, OBAMACARE!!!!

Who Controls The HHS Committee in the MN House? Steve Gottwalt or Mary Franson?
In our last episode, titled ‘The On Again/Off Again Love Affair Of Steve Gottwalt & Obamacare‘ we found Gottwalt trying reclaim health exchanges from Governor Dayton. At the end of that post, I wondered how long Gottwalt would continue to love the Obamacare with the tea party breathing down his neck. Well, this article provides a glimmer of an answer. Of course, he explains, Obamacare is an evil no good very bad thing but this ONE part of Obamacare is maybe sort of not so bad: St. Cloud Republican, Rep. Steve Gottwalt, who chairs the House Health And Human Services Reform Committee went so far as to say that Republicans need to come up with their own kind of exchange. “An exchange as a model … Continue reading
