I’m concerned about my good friend, Gary Gross. Concerned that he may have suffered some serious back or neck injury recently as he made the pivot from republican primary election mode into general election mode. Concerned that there may be some potential whiplash as we move from hating every Republican candidate other than the saintly Newt Gingrich. Basically concerned for his mental health and physical well being for the months ahead that he has to defend a man who he has previously claimed has no character.
Gross made the pivot and caused these potential physical and emotional injuries yesterday when he wrote something about the media and it being super bad and liberal or something. Honestly, I didn’t read it that closely but I did catch this:
Mitt can reassure undecided voters that he’s the right man for the job by using his stump speeches to explain why President Obama’s policies have failed or when his policies have succeeded in the past. [emphasis mine]
So Gross calls or implies that Romney is the right man for the job but that isn’t what Gross was saying within the previous month. The last time that he wrote about Mitt Romney he was calling him “sleazy” and as the twitter screenshot above claims, he has no character.
So, if someone could go please check on Gary to make sure he hasn’t suffered some sort of debilitating injury which would leave him crippled and deformed that would be helpful because his pivot to the general election had to really really hurt.
