Conservative Source: @MaryFranson “Has No Business Being In Politics”
This weekend I received an email from a concerned conservative citizen living in Minnesota House District 11B with information to share about Representative Mary Franson. The source asked to be kept anonymous but wanted to share their increasing frustration about the representative that they admitted to voting for in the election. During our back and forth email conversation the source expressed initial excitement about Franson who was described as a “real person“. That excitement has since soured with the realization that “she is an airhead” and that she “only knows what talking points the GOP gives her“. These observations are certainly indicative of what I have heard from people at the legislature. It also fits previous posts I have done indicating that Franson is really … Continue reading

Dear MN Conservatives, Quick Question…
I read this article and I had a couple questions: The president of a conservative organization promises to battle for requiring a photo identification card before Minnesotans can vote. Secretary of State candidate, Dan Severson made this issue his only campaign talking point and he lost to Mark Ritchie. Doesn’t that mean that voters in Minnesota rejected this idea already? Is the will of voters only clear when it is a conservative victory?
Gross Inaccuracies: Dayton Won BUT VOTERS REJECTED HIS MESSAGE!!!
This is priceless. According to Gary Gross, local drone for the Republican Party of Minnesota, Mark Dayton won the election to be the next Governor but voters rejected his message. While I congratulate Sen. Dayton for his victory, it’s important that he understand that Minnesotans essentially rejected his tax-the-rich scheme. They also said yes to the House and Senate GOP’s message of living within our means, reform and bringing state government into the 21st century. [emphasis mine] Now I know to most of us who look logically at such things winning an election while having voters reject your message might SEEM like a contradiction. NOT SO, ACCORDING TO GROSS! Obviously the gubernatorial election is not an accurate predictor of the will of the people. In … Continue reading
Gross Inaccuracies: IT’S TYRANNY! [Disclaimer: By tyranny I mean I disagree with you!]
So before my last blog went belly up and I had to start over from scratch I ran this series of posts called “Gross Inaccuracies” to catalogue some of the silly or blatantly false posts made by local conservative drone, Gary Gross. It’s time to bring it back because I can’t pass up pointing some things out from a recent post by Mr. Gross. Gary is really OUTRAGED that the Minnesota Supreme Court didn’t rule his way and because of that it is apparently time for a REVOLUTION: To those of us watching the Minnesota recount, it’s clear that the TEA Party revolution needs to be expanded to the judiciary. The reason I’m saying that is because of the Minnesota Supreme Court’s misbehavior in making … Continue reading
