Public Speaks Out Against Anti-Union Amendment
Various members of the public were given an opportunity to speak out against the Minnesota Republican Party attempt to put a union busting amendment on the ballot this November. Among other reasons to oppose the amendment, the measure would allow people to become free riders by not paying fair share dues but still getting all of the negotiated benefits of the union.
