Green Acres: A Case Study In Why A REPEAL IT Strategy Doesn’t Work…

We have heard it ad nauseam. REPEAL IT! It has become the mantra of the Republican Party on issues from Health Care Reform and Wall Street Reform all the way down to local Minnesota issues like Green Acres legislation passed by the DFL in the last couple legislative sessions. The problem with this strategy is that it sounds good while in the minority but once in the majority you have to actually govern and simple repeal makes for terrible public policy.
