Several months ago, local conservative Gary Gross was screaming from the rooftops about the terrible no good awful Mitt Romney and declaring that he would never “lift a finger” for that “Alinskyite liar“. Around that same time he was expressing his belief that if Mitt Romney were to become the nominee that the choice between he and Obama would no longer matter because, according to Gross, Romney was a “secretive Alinsky progressive“…     Hey, you have to respect a guy with such strong principles, right? Last night during the fast paced tweeting of the Newt Gingrich South Carolina victory, John Gilmore (@Shabbosgoy) tweeted something that really ought to be explored more closely. In both cases you have a well groomed conservative candidate who can appeal to moderates/independents even while remaining conservative. On the other hand, you have the arrogant blowhard who is electable only in the most conservative areas of the country. So, what do you think? Are we looking at a replay of Emmer vs. Seifert?
